About Mstyslav Hrabko
Co-owner and co-founder of Space Glass — a company that designs, manufactures and installs glass and aluminium structures.
01 · Who
Entrepreneur and practitioner
Space Glass is the company I co-own and co-founded. It designs, manufactures and installs glass partitions and doors, shower enclosures, railings, facade and frameless glazing and aluminium structures, with teams in Kyiv, Odesa and Lviv.
According to the company’s own history, it grew out of hands-on work with glass and hardware that began in 2014 and moved, step by step, from single products to complete glass and aluminium solutions.
02 · Approach
How I look at a project
The base before the system
What the structure is fixed to decides which system is possible. A project starts there.
Decisions on paper
Tempered glass and powder-coated aluminium cannot be adjusted on site. Tolerances and junctions are agreed before production.
Clear responsibility
Every junction has an owner: the installer, the builder or the designer. Problems live where nobody was named.
Honest expectations
What a system does not do is better explained at the first meeting than in its first winter.
03 · Expertise
Areas
Glass constructions
Partitions, doors, railings and shower enclosures: how the fixing, the base and the glass type are decided before anything is cut.
02Aluminium systems
Entrance doors, large-format windows and warm glazing: thermal breaks, thresholds and the junctions where comfort is won or lost.
03Facades
Shopfronts and glazed facades for cafés, restaurants and commercial ground floors — where the facade is also the entrance and the counter.
04Frameless glazing
Terraces, balconies and restaurant verandas: sliding and folding glass without vertical frames, and the conditions it needs to work.
